The Shepherd is derived from research into the work of Marianne Fritz, who spent most of her life working on a cycle of dense and complex novels she called “The Fortress”.
Part of the video cycle Whose Language You Don't Understand, this work questions the limits of language and fiction in favour of a reading that sustains a reality.
