GROUPE INTERVENTION VIDEO (GIV)

Marie-Josée Tremblay est algonquine et originaire de Montréal. Elle est photographe, auteure-compositrice-interprète, comédienne, artiste peintre. Venant d’une famille de photographes, c’est à l’âge de neuf ans que Marie-Josée a fait ses premiers pas en photographie autant à la prise de vue qu’au développement en chambre noire. Marie-Josée est une passionnée du cinéma de répertoire. Elle a étudié en communications et cinéma au cégep Jean-de-Brébeuf. Elle a réalisé quatre courts-métrages en noir et blanc: documentaire, fiction et animation. Elle étudie ensuite en cinéma à l’université Concordia. Elle réalise quatre courts-métrages avec le Wapikoni mobile et l’UQAM.

Marie-Josée Tremblay is Algonquin and originally from Montreal. She is a photographer, singer-songwriter, actress, painter. Coming from a family of photographers, it was at the age of nine that Marie-Josée began her first steps in photography as much in shooting as in development in the dark room. Marie-Josée is passionate about repertory cinema. She studied communications and cinema at cégep Jean-de-Brébeuf. She has directed four short films in black and white: documentary, fiction and animation. She then studied film at Concordia University. She makes four short films with Wapikoni mobile and UQAM.
