Taipei Moves

Taipei is a city where the traditional and contemporary meet and marry.  This dichotomy is manifested on the streets where bicycles, scooters, cars and buses compete for dominance reflecting the realities of urban mobility in one of the world’s most densely populated metropolis.  Due to its tropical climate, Taipei has a culture of leisure evident in the number of parks and bicycle paths.  At the same time, traffic congestion and over population is a reality.
