Ossature (2)

Simplicity and destitution are at the core of Ossature (2), a series of manipulations, which deploy in very slow motion. A big whitish chap, established by several vaporous fabrics and papers, is lying on a table. In pair of shorts and white camisole, as ready to lift distort, I handle, model and feel the material to melt me in her and be its double. I borrow from the puppeteer’s art of manipulating an inanimate object and giving it life. I am interested in the fusion made possible by the joining of my body with this white mass. Some troubling ghost figures appear. The sound of papers hidden in the costume remind the bones of a skeleton
