Pascale Paroissien studied cinema at Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) and at Collège de Saint-Jérôme. She began as an assistant editor for American productions and then became picture editor for several fiction and documentary feature films. As someone who is interested in visual and aural components, Paroissien experiments with images and sounds. She created her first short documentary Mon père sans mon père (2014.) Her other works are Exit (2016), Face (2017), Animal (2018), A True Story and Lac 2019. No Man’s Land, À mon fils and Sans titre were all created in 2020.
