Synopsis for series : Mittelnacht is a series of videos that attempts to tell a story six times. Composed of a collage of personal and found footage and archival stills, each video takes the perspective of a different character. The story is rewritten as the subjects bring their own associations to the unfolding events.

Kim Kielhofner is an artist working in video, drawing, and artist books. She holds a BFA from Concordia University (2007, Montreal, QC) and Master’s from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (2010, London, UK). Her work has been shown in festivals and galleries in North America, Europe and Asia.
Kim Kielhofner est une artiste qui travaille avec la vidéo, le dessin et le livre d’artiste. Elle détient un baccalauréat de l’Université Concordia (Montréal) et une maîtrise du Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (Londres). Ses oeuvres ont été présentées dans des festivals et galeries en Amérique du Nord, en Europe et en Asie.
