GROUPE INTERVENTION VIDEO (GIV)

Pauline Voisard débute sa carrière en 1973 dans la région de la Mauricie; journaliste dans la presse écrite puis réalisatrice à la télévision, où elle réalise des vidéoclips, dramatiques, magazines et documentaires à Radio-Canada, puis à Radio-Québec Trois-Rivières. Après des études en marketing, publicité et relations publiques, elle occupe pendant dix ans le poste de directrice des communications et codirectrice de l’équipe de mise en marché au Théâtre Parminou. En 1997, elle devient productrice à Vidéo Femmes, puis présidente de Productions VF. En 2012, elle fonde avec Pierre Lapointe Productions Triangle inc. Elle a produit plus d’une centaine de documentaires, qui ont été largement diffusés et ont remporté plusieurs prix. Poursuivant en parallèle sa démarche de réalisatrice en documentaire, elle réalise de nombreux documentaires à caractère social et culturel qu’elle diffuse à la télévision, dans des festivals et dans les réseaux de diffusion parallèles.

Pauline Voisard began her career in 1973 in the Mauricie region as a journalist in the written press then director on television where she produced music videos, dramas, magazines and documentaries at Radio-Canada then at Radio-Québec Trois-Rivières. After studying marketing, advertising and public relations, she served for ten years as director of communications and co-director of the marketing team at Théâtre Parminou. In 1997, she became a producer at Vidéo Femmes, then president of Productions VF. In 2012, she founded Productions Triangle Inc. with Pierre Lapointe. She has produced more than 100 documentaries which have been widely broadcast and won several awards. Voisard has also continued her work as a documentary director. She has directed numerous documentaries of a social and cultural nature which have been broadcast on television and shown in festivals and exhibited in parallel exhibition networks.

Befriending Death: a poetic reflection on the passage towards death. How to prepare for it, with whom to live the last moments and in which places; how to tame it. Archival images celebrate the past and make us relive happy times. Rather than seeing death as something to be feared, this short film tames death; a discussion on a subject that is still taboo .
