Sharon Katz is a visual artist working in animated and still imagery. Primarily using drawing techniques and a minimalist style, she creates narrative work that is both lyrical and poetic. Producer-director of six short animated films which have screened widely in film festivals, she also exhibits mixed-media artwork in Canada and abroad. She is currently working in collaboration with composer Kiki Keren-Huss on an experimental opera integrating animation and live performance. She blogs for awn.com, and lives and works in Canada.
Kiki Keren-Huss is a composer and sound artist. She works with electronic and electroacoustic music using sound as a way to draw and create an inner environment out of everyday sounds. She has a longstanding interest in music-theater and opera, often working in collaboration with visual artists and choreographers. She is the head of the Advanced Studies Program in Experimental Music & Sound Art at the Musrara School of Arts in Jerusalem. She lives and works in Israel.
