GROUPE INTERVENTION VIDEO (GIV)

Nelly-Eve Rajotte fait partie du collectif Perte de signal depuis 2003. Après un baccalauréat en histoire de l’art (UQÀM), elle entreprend un second diplôme de premier cycle à l’École des arts visuels et médiatiques (UQÀM) et complète une maîtrise en arts visuels et médiatiques en 2006. Son travail est orienté vers la monobande et l’installation vidéo. Elle a présenté de nombreuses expositions en sol québécois, notamment à la SAT, la Fonderie Darling, Parisian Laundry, Occurrence, au Centre Clark, à L’Oeil de poisson et chez Optica. Elle a fait partie de la programmation des festivals MUTEK, Antimatter Underground Film Festival et le Festival international du film sur l’art (FIFA). Ses œuvres vidéo ont aussi été sélectionnées dans de nombreux festivals à travers le monde, dont l’International short film festival of Berlin et Transmediale.08 (Allemagne), Otherworldly, Manchester Urban Screens (Royaume-Uni), EXiS2007 (Corée), Moscow International Film Festival (Russie) et Taide08, Helsinki Contemporary Art Fair (Finlande).

Nelly-Ève Rajotte has a bachelor’s degree in art history from UQAM, and obtained a second bachelor’s at UQAM’s school of visual and media arts in 2000. She completed a master’s degree in visual and media arts in 2006. Her work is oriented towards single-channel digital video, and video installations. She explores a sensory research aimed at reporting on an environment at once visual and aural. Her work has been exhibited in Quebec (MUTEK, Society for Arts and Technology, Darling Foundry, International Festival of Films on Art), as well as in Mexico, Germany and France.
